STEM Unplugged: Training the Next Generation of Critical Thinkers is a hands-on educational workshop designed for secondary school students to strengthen critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific reasoning skills.
Through interactive STEM activities, guided experiments, and collaborative challenges, students are encouraged to question assumptions, test ideas, analyze evidence, and reflect on outcomes. The session emphasizes how to think, not what to think, helping learners develop logical reasoning and informed decision-making skills applicable both inside and outside the classroom.
Participants will explore real-world scenarios using science and technology concepts while working in small groups to observe, hypothesize, experiment, and draw conclusions. The activities are designed to be engaging, accessible, and aligned with secondary-level learning, promoting curiosity, creativity, and teamwork.
Facilitated by ProjeKt Inspire, this workshop supports young people in becoming confident, independent thinkers by fostering a culture of inquiry, evidence-based reasoning, and responsible problem-solving. The session contributes to building essential 21st-century skills needed for academic success and active citizenship
