Semaine de l’IA | AI for Society: Challenges and Opportunities

Organized by the CMA TIARe, this week-long series of conferences is dedicated to raising awareness among students and professors about the societal challenges and implications of AI. Featuring over 20 speakers from diverse academic, professional, and cultural backgrounds, the “Semaine de l’IA” will explore a broad spectrum of issues ranging from data security and environmental impact to legislation, creative industries, and responsible AI applications in fields such as medicine, agriculture, and climate science.

Designed for graduate-level students (M1–M2) across the TIARe partner programs, the event aims to:

  • Strengthen critical thinking by confronting participants with the complex ethical and societal dimensions of AI;
  • Build a shared knowledge base on AI among TIARe institutions;
  • Encourage cross-disciplinary collaboration through a common academic starting point for the new academic year.
