How open access can benefit to your publishing Strategy ETH-PDR-04

The purpose of this training is to summarize the benefits of open access in academic publishing for scholars and the whole society. Various types of Open Access will be introduced and compared from an economic, legal and ethical perspective. Main concepts of Open Access publishing will be defined together with the economic aspects of both traditional and Open Access academic publishing. The session includes a presentation of HAL, and provides some tools to assess Open Access journals and avoid fake and predatory publishers.
