Illiteracy and Citizenship

The acquisition of language skills in the country in which you reside are an essential precondition for participation and full exercise of citizenship. To reflect on these assumptions and on the political and social issues related to them for five years, the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, the Right to Speak Network and the scientific committee that supports them propose the conference 'Citizenship and illiteracy', which will deepen the theme "Didactics and distances in adult education". The focus of this fifth edition is an opportunity for reflection and updating on the management of distance education and teaching in the time of the Coronavirus and the provisions of social distancing for the containment of the infection.
