Bio of the speakers :

Karine BIDART - co-CEO, Paris&Co, Economic development and Innovation Agency of Paris

Master’s degree in International Business at Lomonossov University in Moscow and graduating from Normandy Business School, Karine Bidart started her career at PepsiCo, and specialized in negociation with the purchasing groups of the retail industry in Northern France.

She joined in 1998 the Finnish group M-real, a global leader in the paper and packaging industry, and extended her international experience on production sites in Finland, and in the South African agence in Durban, before taking the group responsibility of the international key accounts in the cosmetics sector.

In 2009, Karine Bidart joined Paris Développement, the economic development agency of Paris, to build the prospection strategy towards foreign direct investors, and was appointed managing director of the agency in 2011. She is now the co-CEO of Paris&Co, the economic development and innovation agency of Paris, after the merger of 2 agencies in 2015.  

Odin DEMASSIEUX - International Development Manager, Cap Digital

Odin started his career in Spain, in Barcelona as a fintech consultant before moving to the US in Atlanta. He worked there as a business developer for the French American Chamber of Commerce.After 3 years abroad he decided to come back to France and worked for the large insurance corporate AXA. He was instrumental in helping the company design and launch the very first insurance for startups.

As Cap Digital's International Manager, he is now managing market entry and business development initiatives for disruptive and hyper growing digital startups across a broad range of sectors.

Based in Paris, he has degrees in political science and international business. Odin is also a fluent English and Spanish speaker

Thierry LOUVET - Europe and International Affairs Director, SYSTEMATIC PARIS REGION innovation and technology cluster

52 years old, graduate from “Sciences Po Paris” in International Relations and holder of a BA in History and Geography as well as an MBA in Management of Local Development.  Thierry Louvet started his career in the UK with Andersen Consulting and went on to work as project coordinator and consultant in London and Paris on EU programmes for Local Employment Development. In 1996, he joined the Association for the Monetary Union of Europe (AMUE) as Head of conference department to oversee the creation of the Euro.

In 2000, he became Executive Director of the Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region (ASPHER), an association representing over 60 European institutions (national establishments, University Departments) aimed at reinforcing the role of public health by improving the training of professionals in WHO Euro countries.

He started working for SYSTEMATIC Paris Region in January 2008 to develop European and International activities.
