DREAD MAX + SOULEYMANE THIELLO

Born on September 30th, in Mont Rolland, village sérère of Thiès(SÉNÉGAL), DREAD Maxim AMAR spent the largest part of its childhood to Mboro, a village situated in the fresh zone of niayes. It is after the class of cm2, the end of the primary cycle that he left the village of Mboro to continue his studies in the city of Thiès, to the holy school Gabriel up to final year of high school. It is during this stay in Thiès that DREAD Maxim teased the microphone for the first time, this in 1992. And so began first step of musician of the one that we like calling up today: the prince of the Senegalese reggae.
On returning to Mboro after the final year of high school, DREAD Maxim AMAR decided to form his own group, the BIG nation. It is in 1995 when the DREAD joined the orchestra of the chemical industries of Senegal (ics), as lead vocal in charge of the section reggae, until 1998. It is in this period that the young artist, filled with spite and rich in all these past experiences, decided on to fly away of his own wings.
So will begin the solo career of the Rastafarian prince. He flies away later for Dakar the Senegalese capital where he will meet one of the most famous presenters of the place in this particular case MICHAEL SOUMAH. This last one will present him to the musician and the German producer Steven TOETEBERG owner of the studio YES. Together they decided to bet them under in what will be the DREAD Maxim AMAR's first production, entitled REVELATION.
REVELATION, on the Senegalese market in 2000, will be a rich cocktail consisted of various musical styles. Among 8 titles which compose this album we shall find of the reggae, the rap and of pop music there, fruit of all these musical experiences gleaned along his.
This album will be followed, three years later, at 2003, of JAH FIRE, cassette of eight (8) titles, went out under the MAXI label PROD' ATION. JAH FIRE will be a product exclusively reggae and will be the emblem of the artist, convinced to have found finally its way.
